"Home Run" - Played during PITCH COUNT after a "HIT". BATTER and BASE RUNNERS score. Overruled by "Super Catch". BATTER is OUT. BASE RUNNERS on 2nd and 3rd advance ONE BASE, except on 3rd OUT.

"Error" card - "Home Run becomes a TRIPLE. All BASE RUNNERS score.

"Triple"- Played during PITCH COUNT after a "HIT". BATTER goes to 3rd. All BASE RUNNERS score. Overruled by "Long Fly Out" BATTER is OUT. RUNNER on 3rd SCORES with less than 2 OUTS.

"Error" card - BATTER is SAFE at 3rd.


"Double" - Played during PITCH COUNT after a "HIT". Batter goes to 2nd base. All BASE RUNNERS advance 2 BASES.

Overruled by "Long Fly Out" - BATTER is OUT. RUNNER SCORES from 3rd base. OTHER BASE RUNNERS CANNOT ADVANCE.

"Error" card -BATTER SAFE at 2nd. All BASE RUNNERS SAFE.



"Single" - Played during PITCH COUNT after a "HIT".  BATTER goes to 1st.  All RUNNERS advance 1 base.

Overruleld by "Ground Out". BATTER OUT at 1st.

 

"Ground Out" - Overrules "Single" - BATTER OUT at 1st.

 

"Error" card - BATTER SAFE at 1st. All BASE RUNNERS advance 1 base.



"Single" - Played during PITCH COUNT after a "HIT".  BATTER goes to 1st. All RUNNERS advance 1 base.

 

"Fielder's Choice" - Played to overrule "Single" with a RUNNER on 1st base. BASE RUNNER on 1st base going to 2nd base is OUT.

 

"Error" card - RUNNER is SAFE at 2nd and BATTER is SAFE at 1st.



"Single" - Played during PITCH COUNT after a "HIT".  BATTER goes to 1st base. All BASE RUNNERS advance 1 base.

 

"Double Play" - Played too overrule "Single" with a RUNNER on 1st base. Retires RUNNER going to 2nd base from 1st base AND BATTER going to 1st base on "Single".  With 2 OUTS and a RUNNER on 1st base, the "Double Play" may be used to end the inning. IMPORTANT NOTE - WITH 2 OUTS,  "Error" card  CANNOT BE USED TO OVERRULE "Double Play"! THE 3rd OUT IS MADE AT 2nd BASE AND THE HALF INNING IS OVER!

 

"Error" card - RUNNER OUT at 2nd base and BATTER SAFE at 1st base. IMPORTANT NOTE - WITH 2 OUTS,"Error" card CANNOT BE PLAYED AFTER "Double Play". THE  3rd OUT IS MADE AT 2nd BASE AND THE HALF INNINGS IS OVER!.





"Squeeze Play" - Played during PITCH COUNT after a "HIT" with a RUNNER on 3rd base.  RUNNER SCORES from 3rd base. BATTER IS OUT AT 1st BASE. All BASE RUNNERS advance ONE base.

 

"Out at Home" - Played to overrule "Squeeze Play". RUNNER is OUT at HOME - BATTER is SAFE at 1st.

"Error" card - RUNNER is SAFE at HOME - BATTER is SAFE at 1st.

 

NOTE- "Out at Home" CANNOT BE USED TO OVERRULE "Sac Fly" WITH A RUNNER ON 3rd NOR "Stretch" AFTER A TRIPLE.



"Stretch" -IF DEFENSE CANNOT MAKE AN OUT ON THE "HIT", "Stretch" card may be played IMMDEDIATELY after "Single", "Doube", or "Triple" to advance BATTER or LEAD RUNNER 1 base.

NOTE - "Stretch" card CANNOT be played after "Hit 'n Run" or "Squeeze Play".

 

"Great Throw" - Played to overrule "Stretch" card. BATTER or LEAD RUNNER is OUT"

"Error" card - All RUNNERS SAFE.

 

NOTE - "Great Throw" CANNOT be used to overrule "Sac Fly" card.



"Stolen Base" - Played anytime during PITCH COUNT after 1st pitch. OFENSE must have BASE RUNNER on 1st or 2nd base.

LEAD RUNNER advances 1 base.

 

NOTE - Can be played after STRIKE 3 with less than 2 OUTS.

Can be played after "Checked Swing" or "Called Strike".

CANNOT BE USED TO STEAL HOME.

 

"Caught Stealing" - Played to overule "Stolen Base". RUNNER IS OUT.

"Error" card - RUNNER is SAFE.

 

NOTE - CANNOT BE USED TO OVERRULE "Squeeze Play".

DEFENSE MUST ALWAYS WAIT 1 PTICH BEFORE PLAYING "Pick-Off at 1st" or "Pick-Off at 2nd" cards.



"Double Steal" - Played anytime during PITCH COUNT after first pitch.

OFFENSE must have RUNNERS on 1st AND 2nd base. Both RUNNERS advance 1 base.

 

NOTE - Can be played after STRIKE 3 with less than 2 OUTS.

Can be played after "Checked Swing" or "Called Strike".

 

"Caught Stealing" - Played to overrule "Double Steal".  LEAD RUNNER is OUT.

"Error" card - LEAD RUNNER is SAFE.



"Balk" - ONLY played to overrule "Pick-Off at 1st".  ALL BASE RUNNERS ADVANCE 1 BASE.

 

NOTE - "Balk" card does NOT overrule "Pick-Off at 2nd".

 

"Pick-Off at 1st" and "Pick-Off at 2nd" - RUNNER is OUT at 1st or 2nd base.

"Error" card - RUNNER is SAFE at 1st or 2nd base.

 

NOTE - Before playing "Pick-Off" cards, DEFENSE MUST ALWAYS WAIT A MINIMUM OF 1 PITCH AFTER A "HIT" OR AN OFF/DEF "ACTION CARD SERIES".

Example - After a "Double", DEFENSE CANNOT play the "Pick-Off a 2nd" until after the NEXT PITCH.





NOTE - "Error" card CANNOT be used to overrule "Great Scoop" nor "Great Scoop 'n Pick-Off".

NOTE! -  With 2 OUTS, "Error" card CANNOT BE PLAYED TO OVERRULE "Double Play! THE 3rd OUT IS MADE AT 2nd BASE AND THE INNING IS OVER!

 

"Error" card - Exception A - "Super Carch" overrules "Home Run"

BATTER IS OUT".  "Error" card overrules "Super Catch". "Home-Run" BECOMES A TRIPLE. ALL BASE RUNNERS SCORE.

 

"Error" card - Exception B - "Error" card overrules "Double Play" - RUNNER is OUT at 2nd and SAFE at 1st base.

 

"Error" card - Example C - "Error" card overerules "Caught Stealing" on "Double Steal" - ONLY LEAD RUNNER IS OUT.
